Oak Tree Fungi

[Dogghound]

Found at the base of an Oak tree. Very strange seemed to be seeping sticky liquid through lots of pores.

looks like Weeping Polypore - Inanotus dryadeus.

I am pretty sure it is Inonotus dryadeus "the Oak Bracket"

Agreed, Inonotus dryadeus, but could someone correct the species name in the A-Z, it is named as dryinus instead of dryadeus

Someone had Pleurotus on their mind at the time !!
