Possibly Antrodia ?

I think may be a species of Antrodia (possibly A. albida) but my newly
acquired microscopy skills are not sufficiently honed to enable a
positive ID, let alone with or without clamp connections!. (Found at Bowdown Wood
on a foray with JP)

Hi David - no, certainly isn't Antrodia albida which would be covered in large to very large, angular, off-white pores !

However, the photo is rather indistinct and I couldn't hazard a guess at what your specimen is - except to say that it appears to be corticioid, rather than poroid !

Thanks Nick. Macro-characteristics, by comparison with Jordan p 118, appear to resemble Byssomerulius corium - very white when found and now showing ochraceous tinges with age, closely applied to substrate except where reflexed. Will have to get JP to put under his scope for me.
