Leucoagaricus leucothites?

I found this solitary specimen not far from my front door growing in a neighbours shrubbery. A convenient challenge I thought. Got Ken`s guide out and free gills, ring present and volva absent produced lepiotoid. I then followed Michael Jordans key and came up with lepiota, macrolepiota or leucoagaricus.

Amanita also crossed my mind (i`m not sure what constitutes volval remains) but the broken surface of the cap of this specimen does not look like scaling.

Leucoagaricus leucothites seems close but the season does not seem to fit.
Spore print was white.
Any comments would be welcomed.

I think you are correct with L. leucothites. Although usually associated with autumn it is not out of the question for it to appear during the summer months, especially with the weather we have been having. I noted a number of summer records, May & July in the Fungi Records Database of Britain and Ireland.
