Possibly interesting to some of you, the group above are at the end of a fallen/rotting beach (Fagus) branch.

The red cups are the Eyelash Fungus, the white balls are old myxomycetes (Slime Mould) fruit bodies which are covered in a fungus, from the photo it looks possible that fungus is also attacking the Eyelash Fungus.
