Another myxomycete


A so far unidentified myxomycete, possibly Metatrichia floriformis, some of it came home with me to mature for scope. (sure was a lot of it)


Closer view, right hand corner you can see black shiny developing fruit bodies (part of desctriptions for the species).

Spores from the Metatrichia floriformis above, 9-11um diameter, though light brown in water but were very red in the mass, some warts can be seen on the surface.
