Fond several specimen, growing sepatately, on horse dung heap.
Cap dia 50mm height 40mm
Stem 110 x 8mm
Smell mushroomy
Gills not brittle
Spores black
Root appears to be bulbous
Older specimen has wrinkled cap

The shiny cap cuticle looks a lot like that of Panaeolus semiovatus, although this species should have a ring on the stem and I can't see any sign of a ring on the specimens in the photo.
Did you notice any remnants of a ring?

Looks like Panaeolus semiovatus to me

The specimen photographed on its side doesn't seem to have a noticeable ring, but it may well have been lost.
