David | I finally got things organized so I could join you on 5th Then something else came up that I cannot get out of and I can't even make the 16th - but it is helping to look after my granddaughter while mum is away
I will just have to drool over your finds that weekend. Enjoy it folks and I will meet you soon.

I'll be at Clumber Park most of the bank holiday to 'test out' the October foray routes. Hopefully soon I can then email everyone the maps, routes and approximate times.
It is looking very good at the moment

| | | Re: WAB Clumber Fungi Foray 2008 It's disappointing news from me as I've now heard that my operation will take place on 4 September so the chances of me travelling up to Clumber are pretty remote even if keyhole surgery is the best option.
I wish everybody the best of forays and I will be looking forward to seeing the reports and photos.
There will be other opportunities to meet you all I'm sure.

David | That's real bad news David. I hope the Operation goes OK.
There will always be other opportunities at Clumber, that's for sure!

All WAB meets should have at least three Davids in attendance - that's the rule (which I've just made up).
I wish you all the best for the op and for a speedy recovery.
