Re: WAB Clumber Fungi Foray 2008

Hi Guys

If you book base camp early I could arrange to have the conservation center on BOTH days...very useful for microscopes and the odd cup of tea!

I might even bring chocolate cake seeing as you're such a nice bunch!

PS.Clumber seemed very quiet today!

PPS I've also put a little update on some of the things we found on Richard's thread re the Geoglossum cookeanum.

Best Wishes

Vicky.

Re: WAB Clumber Fungi Foray 2008

You forgot Pseudoboletus parasiticus, Pleurotus dryinus and Pholiota squarrosa

Pauline and I found a separate specimen of Postia which we decided was P. subcaesia so you can definitely put that down.

Re: WAB Clumber Fungi Foray 2008

Hi folks,

Just interested...did this get together happen? If not and it's due to happen, would it be the place a newbie could come and learn from you more experienced folks? I've always been interested in gathering edible mushrooms and this could be my chance?....maybe?....

I'm from Chesterfield way so would pop over for the day?

Cheers

Mick

Sounds like a date not to be missed in 2009, and one more for a bed in the base camp please. (better single this out for a new thread at some time FJ or it will be lost; buried in the annals of 2008)
