Can not make that, I hope that soon I can make a date and meet so many of you all. Op on the 3rd so do not think I will be fit enough.
As a complete novice to Fungi and the like, I am mesmerised by the variety, colours, textures and weired shapes that you have shown in the galleries.
Thanks to you all for showing such wonders.
Am truly amazed.

Well FJ if the weather gets worse or the fungi inexplicably disappear from Clumber you could do worse than adjourn to the local hostelry and put on a slide show of your recent finds so brilliantly displayed in the Gallery.

If anyone still requires a map / route can they pm me their email address ... I think I may have missed one or two!
I'll go over the two routes this weekend to see what's growing and hopefully upload a few more examples of what to expect ... If there's no uploads, just assume there's too many species
11, 10, 9 days ...

Hi John,
i was in clumber on wednesday and found around 16 species in an area of 100yds x 20 yds , including three different boletes growin within inches of each other !
there is a big flush of parasol`s in the paddock areas across the lake from the chapel,
so the signs are good for the foray, hope it keeps dry!!

Brian. | Yes, it's looking very good at the moment Brian. Even the walk from Trumans Lodge to the crossroads provides over 50 species ... and that is only from one side!
Hopefully not too dry during next week
