You really can't tell what most myxo's are Mal, when they are in this plasmodial stage (except perhaps Fuligo septica since the plasmodoium is the same sulphur-yellow colour as the mature state) - this image could be of anything really - Brefeldia maxima (which is common and usually produces a large plasmodium that looks a bit like a rice pudding

) springs to mind but that isn't definite !
But this isn't Enteridium lycoperdon !
