| | | Infested by fungi- help please Hi,
I have just joined. I hope somebody can help me. Last summer I had my grass removed as my dogs had killed most of it and I had a liner laid which is covered with woodchippings.
Since last week these fungi have sprouted everywhere. They have thin stems, are about 10cm high, and have a blackish cap that turns up slightly at the edge when they are fully open.
Can anybody tell me what they are and if they are poisonous ? |

just let me know if you need further help.

Many thanks

| | | Re: Infested by fungi- help please Thanks all for the welcome. I have tried to take some pictures today but they are a bit (VERY) fuzzy. There seem to be two different types, one white and thin stemmed and one darker and fatter. I'm not very techie but will try to get them on here. |

The top species is the common Ink Cap - Coprinus atramentarius and the bottom species is Coprinus lagopus
