Unidentified Fungi
I saw these in Cornwall earlier this year and I have no idea what they are, can anybody help?

My considered opinion, taking account of all of the characters visible in the photos, is that the specimens in these photos are...

... a soggy, rotting (and probably stinking) mess.

That's as much as I can tell you.

There had been a lot of rain before both pics were taken so I'm not surprised
