identification please

Could anyone please identify these fungi growing in my garden, I have never seen them before, I think they might be coprinus atramentarius but they are brown at the top and have brown lines down the sides.

I think you are right. There are one or two closely related species which I am not familiar with, so you never know. But they look like Common Ink Caps to me.
