Help in ID Please
Took these shot today in Culbin Sands Forest ground is sandy and mixed forest with pine and fir trees




Any help would be appreciated the fungi measured 5-7 ins across and was on a Silver Birch is it possible that its Birch Polypoer (Piptoporus betulinus)? just it looks differant from image I took about 2-3 weeks ago and passed it again today in same forest and looked nothing like it?

You're spot on with Piptoporus Betulinus Bill They do darken with age.

No mistaking this one, as Nick has already pointed out -Piptoporus Betulinus.
Whilst it is fairly common I personally think it makes an eye catching photographic subject and always stop to take a few shots when I come across them.
