Fairy Rings
Theres a field just down the road from me where I normally get loads of Field shrooms although hardly any this year, I thought I'd have a look on Google Earth (using Flash Earth) and you can see hundreds of the fairy rings.

The buildings on the left of the field are now a garden centre but years ago it was a mushroom farm. Surely that's why there are so many? (although not this year)
