| | | My first post! Help needed to id fungus Hi everyone, I am new to photographing fungi and would really appreciate some help in identifying the fungi in these images.
Photographed on a stump in Bucks. Images show top and bottom of same fungus.
All help much appreciated.

Thanks for nice warm welcome from fellow starter. It does seem to be a great forum in which to be able to look. learn, and share with like-minded friendly souls I agree.
Look forward to your future posts.

| | | Re: My first post! Help needed to id fungus Thanks Chazzpott, I have checked out the id provided by Deer Stalker on the web, and you both appear to be spot on.
Ok "Natura incrementum dabit"?! I can take a "wild about" stab at "nature increases ...."? but would appreciate the translation please.
