As Michael mentions above we are primarily a conservation group, and ebibles are not a major priority. Nor are the type of fungi 'cubensis' is interested in assuming the username is anything to go by!

| | | Re: East Sussex Fungi Group  Thanks for that Neil. It's been two years but it did rankle.  Rachel, I too am in Brighton and work with a conservation team in Stanmer. There are groups that tour but charge about £50 per day. Reasonable really, when you're gaining a lot of info and there's is money being made in foraging. I'm still trying to find a friendly group as I don't drive and most places need a car. Closest GOOD spot I know of is in Ringer or Ashdown Forest. And yes, only take what you know, appreciate the connectiveness of wildlife and don't be greedy.
