| | | Help to identify smallish, red-brown fungus Seen at Berkshire lakeside. Nearby a few small oak and beech. Only example seen on day.

| | | Re: Help to identify smallish, red-brown fungus I suspect Laccaria laccata. A very variable species, hence the common name.
Note that Tubaria furfuracea could be confused for Laccaria laccata, as they can look similar. |
