| | | Fungi for id please Hi everyone. Can anyone help with the id of this fungi. It was found in woodland in Berkshire. Not sure what trees it was under but it was taken about 2 weeks ago now.  |

| | | Re: Fungi for id please I think you might be thinking of the Amethyst Deceiver which is in actual fact of an amethyst tinge Laccaria laccata is the same colour as shown in the photo. I know what you mean about the form though...Doesn't look quite right for Laccaria...

| | | Re: Fungi for id please yes, when deceiver was mentioned i did immediatly think Amethyst Deceiver, but had a deeper look into the deceivers and realised there was more than 1 type
