Coprinus?

I'm guessing this is a Coprinus but I'm not sure of the species, any thoughts?

First of all I saw this;



Which had an incredibly brittle stem, I barely touched it and it smashed...

This is what it looked like underneath;



and then I found this little gem right next to the big one, growing on a piece of rotting wood, so I'm guessing it's the same species but I'm not totally sure on that!!

I would not be so foolish as to attempt an id of that species from a photo, but Coprinus lagopus grows on woody debris, and forest floors, and looks similar. I'm not sure if there are similar species.

I'd have said Lagopus too Lauriek.
