Orange Birch Boletes ?
Hi, I am a bit of a new starter. I keep finding on the local common a very similar species to the Orange Birch Bolete but the cap is a darker reddy brown and the stem is dirty brown speckled. In areas of damage to the cap there is almost a solid bright red colour present but this does not appear on cutting the cap. Any ideas ?
