This one was growing at base of rotting stump with Beech and Oak. At first thought it was a toughshank, but seeing the slightly decurrent gills and looking closer at the stem not so sure now.
Would welcome suggestions.
Cap dia.4cm
Stem ht.5cm dia.7mm
Slightly aromatic smell.

It certainly deceived me!
After closer study of the stem and taking location into account will go with Laccaria laccata.
