| Re: Unidentified Funnel fungi. The spores would be the way to settle it because Lepista flaccida has minutely spiny spores while Clitocybe gibba has smooth spores.
But the clue in the field is that Lepista flaccida has a smooth cuticle on the cap whereas Clitocybe gibba has a somewhat finely silky texture to the cap surface. A hand lens is useful to make this difference clearer but you can see it with the naked eye.
The caps in the photo are slightly shiny, which you only get with a smooth cuticle so this is Lepista flaccida.
