Mushroom picking in Cheshire

Hello, I'm a new member!

I am wanting to go on a mushroom picking trip in Cheshire and wonder if anyone could tell me where I might find one? I am limited transport wise, so may need picking up from the nearest train station, if at all possible.

Can anyone help? I live in Nantwich, South Cheshire.

Have you checked out the National Trust, the Woodland Trust and the Forestry Commission for fungi forays in your area. It might be worth a look as there may be something close to you?
