Hi

can anyone help with this one.It was taken at Clumber.The cap was around 2cm diam. it was about 3cm tall and was in short grass at the edge of the road.

LBJ I'm afraid. You won't be able to narrow it down just from a photo.

Out of interest, was there an alder growing nearby? If so, it could be a Naucoria, one of the Aldercaps. But that's just a guess. The stem doesn't look quite right for Naucoria because it is too pale.
