They look like Verdigris Agaric to me. I don't think i've ever seen one with a green stipe though... |

Right, who has one | Just waiting for them to pop up in the local park, and I'll be out there with my camera to save the day. There were loads last year, but I didn't have a decent camera then. Must take a basket along too... |

Cool! Sorry to hear you've not seen this John, my book says it's 'common' - although I was talking to my Mrs about this 'common' lark - a lot of stuff that is marked as common in terms of both fungi and insects, isn't /that/ common!! 
Anyhow here's a macro shot of the stem to show the colour/shaggyness;

Lovely shot. It's Stropharia Aeriginosa alright. Lovely find. I remember seeing a few (Ha John ) a while back and their colour amazed me. As you say about the 'common lark'...it's true. Chanterelles? Common? Not in my experience. Ceps? common? Nnoooooooopppeee!!!! |
