St. Georges in September?
I picked these yesterday as I was convinced they were edible St. Georges Mushrooms. However, given that it is September I am not sure that this is possible.

They look like St. Georges, convex cap,close almost white gills, bare stype and smell very 'mushroomy'.

Any ideas?

Dalby forest, North Yorkshire in the UK. In an small woodland clearing.

I would think Tricholoma album is a distinct possibility. Just been researching the species for one of my finds today.
