Found these lot growing under Nettles and Ivy..on a path way ..
Help with ID would be appreciated..

Judging by the very dark blue staining apparent in the photo, along with cap and stem colour, I would say this is Boletus pulverulentus. You should have tried cutting it down the middle. It would have put on an impressive display by turning intensely blue.

Just by handling this specimen it started to turn blue and i feel it was quite old the whole thing started to fall apart after awhile ..

The strong and instant blue staining on handling is very characteristic of Boletus pulverulentus.
