Don't know if this is appropriate, but I wondered if it it might be a good idea to build up a general idea of what people had found and where each week (beyond posts for unidentified/ mystery species, and particularly photogenic finds).
It might be a good way of seeing what is about and where. (Forgive me if this has been done before or is a boring idea.)
Anyway, this week, I have seen, without really looking (sorry for the edibility bias):
Marasimus oreades - fairy ring - Hampstead Heath
Calocybe gambosa (very late!) - St George's - nr. Martin Mere (Lancs), and Hampstead Heath (huge and decomposing)
Pleurotus cornucopiae - Branching oyster, Hampstead Heath
Auricularia auricula-judae - Jews' Ear, nr. Martin Mere (Lancs), Hampstead Heath
Agaricus arvensis - Horse mushroom, Hampstead Heath
loads of Panaeolina foenisecii
loads of Sulphur tuft
Agaricus bitorquis - within Martin Mere, and also in (through?) pavements in Liverpool
Inocybe patouillardii on Hampstead Heath
Coprinus disseminatus, Martin Mere
Unidentified russulas
Several brackets and small things which I should have been more interested in...
What have other people found?
