Advice on sale of local open space

Thanks dampflippers, the land is for auction by a company on behalf of the administrators. The council implies that development would be unlikely due to various reasons. The land was unstable and parts have local interest for nature conservation. Part of the land was planted with trees as the land was unstable but planning was approved previously for houses to be built there in the 90s so could be approved again possibly.
