| | | Bamboo clothes Looking for some socks in T*sco today and found some made from 'bamboo fibres' . Intridguing - shall need to find out more - is bamboo less problematic to grow than cotton, for instance?
Has anyone tried clothes made of bamboo? |

| | | Re: Bamboo clothes Yes, I've got three pairs of bamboo socks from T###o. I won't be buying any more due to them being baggy (foot slides about in them), non elasticated and prone to falling down every time my dog farts. |

Oddly anough, ir was the non-elasticated socks that I was searching for - the only things between me and deep vein thrombosis! |

| | | Re: Bamboo clothes I've seen bamboo clothes on organic websites and I seem to remember its quite environmentally friendly to grow (less pesticides, grows quick in a small area, easy to harvest) and it deals better with sweat (good for feet then ) as it wicks it away from the skin better.
There was also something about antibacterial properties but thats all I remember on that score.
