| | | Re: is spring coming? In this past week the snowdrops are (suddenly I feel!) past their best (that didn't seem to take long?). Miniature daffs out (East Lancs and Southern Cumbria) and their bigger cousins are bent over and showing yellow. Honeybees are out in force and I've seen - or rather heard first then seen bumble bees in every month. A ladybird dropped in my lap in the garden, curlew and raptors have flown over the garden, male chaffinch are singing as are blackbird, thrush and robin. Adders have been basking since the middle of Feb in our area! And actually the season and the year is well turned now that we are a quarter of the way in ......
