For 40 years now, oil producers have used waste heat recovery units,

Nuke stations use a phenominal amount of cooling water, that is why they are all near the coast.

Africa will suffer the most I think, droughts will get worse. Countries However, Europe will experience |

The French multinational, Veolia 'owns' our local water.
Currently replacing, 25 year old cast iron mains with 'plastic', they have given details of when our water will be cut off (fine, if they stick to it).
However, on the reverse side of the letter is a statement to the effect that
all house holders should have their earthing checked by a qualified electrician
if they are earthed through the pipes. This must be very worrying for the
elderly, and not cheap. (the sparks has to be accredited)
As Veolia are seemingly able to run roughshod over people in this manner,
it is no wonder that the people of South Hatfield are up in arms and actively
campaigning against Veolia's proposal to build a hugewaste incinerator on a site which currently homes a disabled school, and the amazing Bunchley's pond. No more than 30M across, Bunchlies is steeped in local folklaw, home
to the Great Crested newt, or Blackjacks as we called them as children
I implore anyone who reads this to have a look on the net and help us in our struggle.
Thanks for listening,

s | I often wonder about this type of ownership our water is "owned" by a French company what happens if we are on opposite sides in a conflict? or they just plain say "we are short of water in France and as we own it we will take it away by pipeline"
I will look at your petition but it did not work just now! Please note petitions are only ok, you really need thousands of _Individual Letters_ these are how planners are best swayed. Several people add signatures to a letter of protest it is _Only One Letter Received_ a thousand letters are much much better

| | | Re: Water; the next thing we fight a war over? Many houses are earthed through "the company sheath" which means that
the household earthing is taken care of by being bonded/joined to the metal sheathing of the electrical companys supply cable or "incomer" You will need permission to do this though I expect.
Driving a copper earthing spike 3-4ft long by around 1/2" dia. can be satisfactory but TAKE ADVICE from a PROFESSIONAL I checked out some building-shell earthing and the weather (wet) side was fine but the lee side being dryer was only just good enough!

I did not have to panic. I was thinking of others left with doubt and confusion
and an £85 bill!
I think it is too late to sign the Bunchleys petition, but please look anyway.
60, now, I have been visiting this wonderful place for nearly 50 years.
Incidently, I am not anti French, for 50 years or so, they have been world
leaders in water technology. (Degremont etc.)
Just off 'waxwinging',
Regs.
