| | | Re: Keep Britain Tidy I made a comment on this site this afternoon, it seems it hasn't been excepted. I'm not surprised, I wasn't exactly congratulating them, I was more or less telling them that they were giving out mixed messages and maybe giving in slightly. Dog Poo Fairy
I also suggested that the makers of the bags should put serial numbers on the bags, this will prove that it's the same individuals that are breaking this Law. |

Incidentally why wont any bin do ?
The contents of dog poo bins got to landfil - and the contents of dust bins go to , yep thats right, landfil so cant see a problem with that myself
so long as you arent putting it in a recycling bin of course
(also a freind of mine who is a postie says its very common for people to put dog poo bags in letter boxes - that is truly disgusting and inconsiderate behaviour IMO )

| | | Re: Keep Britain Tidy If dog poo goes in a normal bin it should be double bagged..
I was a carer and there was talk of doing away with the yellow bag scheme that all contaminated waste goes into as they are going to incinerate all our waste in the future.
So all dressings, incontinence pads ect were to be put in the black household bins.. |

| | | Re: Keep Britain Tidy I never thought of this before.
The vast majority of feces and clinical waste is produced by domestic use and has no special treatment. Body waste goes in the Lavatory, "Clinical Waste" -including much of that from clinically infectious people- will mostly go "into the bin".
We could save millions by doing the same with the waste generated by care and clinical facilities.
That`s a few more hospital Wards staying open.
