i can see leaves on the ground already have done last three weeks
mornings are darker now
birds are moulting
apples are near ready for picking etc etc you get the point
and so on what can you see so you know the season is near over ? |

| | | re: is winter coming ? I saw my first two Fly Agaric fungi of the year yesterday, and the berries on my red berried Rowan are getting quite red, there was a young Blackbird eating some this morning.

| | | re: is winter coming ? Fresher feel to the early morning now.Cob nuts very visible on the tree.Blackbirds stripping the Rowan.Blue tits/green finches back on the feeder. Tomatoes taking time to redden.Leaves of the maple have been falling on the lawn for a couple of weeks now.Shadows are getting longer.Putting on of the trousers most nights now though still wearing shorts daytime.
Ps. Is that snow goggles that Kayleigh is wearing on the nice new pic.....
