Self Sufficiency Questionnaire - I Would Like To Know Your Opinion

Hello to all,

My name is Martin Wright and I am a student at Huddersfield University. I am studying product design and am currently undertaking a research project based around sustainable domestic living. Below shows a questionnaire on self sufficiency. If you could take a few minutes to give me your opinion it would be greatly appreciated.

2. I do grow some fruit and veg' in my small garden and harvest some seasonal wild food.

4. Yes, I need more land to grow more fruit and veg' and rear livestock

5. Buy organic (with greater demand, it should come down in price, much of it is still very expensive) and buy local and English. Gather wild foods.

I am 35 and a bloke.

2. In autumn and spring I harvest 95% of my food. In Summer and winter it's more like 40%

3. Most definitely for my age.

4. Yes,I'd love to be able to grow vegetables but I'm at Uni.

5. I don't think I could answer that to any degree of help.

1. not really

2. composting; grow some fruit and veg; collect wood for fire; try to make things if time and use recycled stuff to do so; try and make gifts if recipient wouldn't be too put out!

4. yes, need to have time and land to grow more and forage more. I've always wanted to build my own environment friendly house with grey water system, well etc

5. yes, i'm not quite sure how because it will vary from person to person but the thing would be to find a way that would interest them in the subject.
