Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the more fuss made about saving the planet and theres more and more hybrid/environmentally friendly cars being made the worse the problem is getting. Maybe its just coincidental i dont know but we dont seem to get really cold winters like we used to do with heavy snowfalls just in the same way we dont get 4 star petrol anymore |

Talking of snow though, I recently posted some snow to some relations overseas.
After a fortnight or so, I hadn't heard back from them, so I rang 'em up and said:
"D'ya get my drift?"....
Oh dear oh dear.
Seriously off topic now.

| | | Re: Why have 4x4s? There's very little to top Landrovers for true 4x4 capability.
I'm currently looking at getting a Defender 110 TDi, thing is I dont want one thats too old and knackered so the prices are slightly prohibitive, I'm sure a bargain will turn up sooner or later though
I used to have a Diahatsu Fourtrac 2.8 L turbo commercial, it was awesome off road and could tow a tremendous amount of weight, but its on road performance was not good, neither was its feul consumption |

| | | Re: Why have 4x4s? I like the Landrover Defender but to me that says 'country'. What I fancy is a Range Rover Vogue SE that has been Kahn'ed up with greasey alloys and a badbwoi system. I am not bothered by the practicality, I just fancy it so the ride is high and I can look down on people, literally.
Besides it'll go with my new Barbour jacket
