That is good news. Well done to the action group and supporters for keeping the campaign going for the 6 years as it has paid off.

You can see that if the developers had have got their planning permission to build on the banks, they would have not given two hoots about the rare mushrooms and other wildlife and no doubt the luxury houses would have been very expensive and have restricted the general publics access to the remains of the reservoirs.
