Schedule 1 Licence

Not sure where to put this thread. But what is a Schedule 1 Licence? I keep hearing it mentioned when people are talking about photographing (nesting?) birds. Do you need a license to do this? And are there simluar restrictions and licenses need when photgraphing wildlife?

there are a cople of very similar threads open already on this - check the photography forum. basically you need a schedule one licence to photograph schedule 1 birds at or near the nest - check the natural england or rspb websites for definitive position.

I dont think most animals requre a licence but some rare ones may , its always best to check
