The conclusion of the commission on the best way for the UK to maintain power supply while meeting green targets is that we should go ahead with current plans for 14 new nuclear plants, plus two more, scrap plans for more wind farms, focus on tidal, and go for clean gas.

Back to my mantra. Do we want nuclear? Hell no. Do we need nuclear? Grow up of course we do.

I do think you are right on this, I also think it is important to look at technologies like http://mail.google.com/mail/h/1nt1ga....1&disp=vah&zw

We need to look at alternative systems, it seems like the Chinese are keen to investigate this, but we aren't.

Does it not work? It is a link sent to me by a very competent chemical engineer, I have read most of the links and made some sense of it.

Whilst I don't like Wikipedia, the above link does cover some of this potential solution.

The link is (for me) what I wanted, but I don't know what you got.

I have to check that out, it looks like a link to a link sent to me in a message. I certainly understand that you can't link to a message in my inbox.
