| | | Re: 'deadly' wood burners It was in the "broadsheets" as well. Lessee. Man first learned to control fire at least 250.000 BP. How come we're still around? I know that journos think we're all stupid but just how stupid? Having a fire in your cave will kill you! Yeah well, freezing to death doesn't do much for your life expectancy.
We need a head banger emoticon!
BLAH.

| | | Re: 'deadly' wood burners It clearly states that it is the smoke that causes the problem, so don't climb the roof and crouch over the chimney inhaling it. This is a clear warning to all who indulge in this all too common practice.
If you just burn wood in an enclosed stove and vent the gases through the new invention called a "chimney", do remember not to leave a car running in your bedroom overnight, and you will have the normal level of risk in your life (unless, of course, you are one of those compulsive urninators on electric sockets.)

No wonder I've been coughing a lot lately .

| | | Re: 'deadly' wood burners That is a real shame.
I am sure that some of us public spirited wabbers will be only too glad to remove any dangerous unburned firewood that concerned folk have lying around in woodsheds etc.
If you are really concerned many of us will happily accept it if it is dropped off at our houses.
What do you say?
