| | | Shocking Water companies Heard this news yesterday on Radio 4 on the way to work and was shocked at these water companies, the same water companies who hark on about saving water supplies by rain catchment, hose pipe bans, flushing the toilet with bath water etc etc. Agreed all this is sound advice but when one company alone loses 295 million litres a day I think they need to get their own act sorted first.
This is quite shocking in this day and age. BBC News - Six water companies 'fail to hit leakage targets'

| | | Re: Shocking Water companies THis is the quote from OFWAT Regina Finn, chief executive of Ofwat, said failing companies would be forced to improve.
"These companies are on watch, they know that we'll take tough action. We have in the past - we've made companies invest their own money in fixing these leaks. We expect these companies to restore their service," she said.
so whose money should they be spending then? | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
