If you're like me and throw any correspondence from banks, power suppliers, insurance companies straight into the recycling box .... and if you're an npower customer or were in 2007-08 ... don't do it! Read the letter and there's a good chance that it is giving you a refund! 
Apparently when they changed their billing system in 2007 they accidentally (  ) pocketed a few of your quids (£32 in my case) but after discussion with the watchdog they have decided to give it back.
However this comes in a simple letter along with other bumph - there is no big headline 'This letter is worth money, do not discard!' - strange ..... 
So, if you get any letters from npower - read them!

Utilities companies accidentally over charging - nope can't believe they would ever do such a thing (well not "accidentally" anyway )
