Government Energy Bill

More from a lack of decent entertainment programmes than anything else, I decided to watch the recorded House of Lords second reading of the Energy Bill on television. (The reading was yesterday, 23/03/10, but broadcast this evening).

Now, I probably have more of an interest in this subject than many Wabbers, but even so, I was quite entertained, and at the same time learned a lot of detail about what the government is proposing in respect of spending our hard earned tax contributions.

It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for those with any interest, the reading is available in both text and audio visual form via these links to the Parliament.UK website.

My preferred method for digesting such info, (because some of the participants are not always clear in their enunciation), is to set the audio visual running, and follow the text transcript in another window: -
