| | | Warm fusion = free clean energy! Is it possible that unlimited clean, safe, free, energy is already there if only we would make use of it?
I do not claim to be an expert but after watching several clips on the U-Tube there seems to be a link between cold fusion and HHO.
Hot fusion is costing Britain billions but has as yet, not managed to generate more energy than it takes to create it.
(U-Tube video)
Cold fusion has been demonstrated as working but the men in white coats just bury their heads in the sand because it breaks all the rules that they live by.
(U-tube video)
Cold fusion seems to be created in a water system very much like the HHO generaters that are being used to try to reduce the exhaust pollution from cars.
(Both can be seen demonstrated on U-Tube)
A HHO gas torch has been developed that puts out a steady flame that is not that hot yet can weld a hacksaw blade to a house brick in a matter of seconds
(Yet another U-Tube video)
I believe that what I am seeing is warm fusion and if we could apply it to generate turbine steam then the age of free clean energy may have arrived.
Please do not reply to this post untill you have seen all the U-Tube clips that
I have listed, only then will your opinion be valid.
Kind regards to all you Wild About Britain members,

David | You aren't in a position to decide whose opinion is or is not valid on this forum. Frankly you come across as some kind of Useless Tube, spammer.
No one has been able to replicate the claims for cold fusion and there is as yet no sound theoretical basis for the existence of exploitable atomic fusion occuring at anything other below stellar temperatures. Whether harnessing atomic fusion as a power source (other than via solar panels) while ever be a practical option remains an open question but at least the science applied to fusion research is rigorous.

I can also see that it makes me look as if I am trying to promote the U-tube when infact that was also not my intention.
The question of how a low temperature gas flame can weld a hacksaw blade to a house brick still stands,

I guess 'Dave5xe' doesn't have a scientific reputation to ruin, yet!

| | | Re: Warm fusion = free clean energy! AFAIK the only fusion we humans have so far been able to create is in hydrogen bombs (apart from con-fusion).
It's still in the realms of science fiction (and fantasy) but the 'techno-optimists' bandy it about as if it's possible, which so far it's not.
Personally I'd rather base my future on something we know to work.

Personally I'd rather base my future on something we know to work. | I don't think you can dismiss fusion power so readily!
I visited the Culham laboratory in Oxfordshire earlier this year, where they're operating the 'JET' - Joint European Tokamak: Research: JET
As the site states they've generated 16 Megawats of power for short periods using fusion. The scientists were quite confident in predicting a commercial fusion power station within 40 years.
For those interested in BIG engineering, it's well worth a visit - huge site full of giant installations!
