| | | Re: Warm fusion = free clean energy! I found the whole ridiculing of the original 'cold-fusion' scientists to be very worrying. I mean, they weren't idiots but they did make a mistake - they didn't deserve for their careers to go into freefall, IMO. Peer review is all about calmly evaluating other scientist's work - it isn't about character assassination and trashing the reputations of other people.
One of the knock-on effects of this ridicule has been that a lot of conspiracy-theorists have come along in their wake to claim that there was some kind of conspiracy by the oil companies etc to silence cold-fusion. They have filled the internet with rather dubious claims and we have to remember that sites like YouTube have no peer review ... literally anyone can post a video and make all kinds of unsupported claims ... they can say they know what they are talking about and they can mock-up fake experiments - but it doesn't make HHO real and it doesn't mean that cold-fusion is a fact.
Considering the huge investment that oil companies are making now into alternatives to oil and the vast profits they would make from patenting any form of cold-fusion, I think that it is absolutely impossible to believe that they are not working as hard as they can to make cold/warm fusion a reality. So, when scientists come out with a working prototype for cold-fusion that stands up to peer review then I will believe that it exists ... I won't take my 'facts' from YouTube videos and claims by sellers on eBay thanks |

Originally Posted by Dave5xe Sorry Eeyore but the answer to your question is a bit long winded, HHO and H2O are not the same thing. In a H2O (water) molecule the hydrogen atoms are attached to the central oxygen atom and both are at about a 104 degree angle. The isomer form HHO has two hydrogens bonded in series with an oxygen atom capped to one hydrogen all in a line. I hope that this helps,
Regards, David | coblers - hydrogen cant be bonded in series because the hydrogen atom can only make one bond - oxygen makes two so the only way that two hydrogens and an oxygen can bond is with both hydrogens bonded to the oxygen.

| | | Re: Warm fusion = free clean energy! Thanks for the warning RnF, DHMO is not found in browns gas if you stick to the rules, distilled water only and a very safe electrolite like domestic baking powder,
Kind regards, David | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
