The amount of Sol we've seen for this month, probably won't provide enough power to get you out of your drive!

| | | Re: HHO Gas Cars A friend of mine is developing his system extracting hydrogen from tap water and is doing pretty well. His van has improved from 30mpg to 45mpg and he expects to get 80mpg before long.
An American drove 3,000 miles on so many gallons of water some years ago now. He fell of a train whilst drunk - he was actually teetotal! There is reckoned to be 13 or more persons quite far on in this line of fuel having met with 'accidents'. So don't try to patent it! An Aussie guy admits to being paid millions to stop his advanced experiments.
America has installations of 200 Hydrogen filling stations being built across America now. Obviously they want you to fill up and pay for it as we do now with petrol, but why bother when you can get it cheaper out of your tap?
Do you really think the Government wants to lose its £2,000,000 + it makes on fuel tax EVERY DAY, while people run their vehicles on tap water?
And there's the downside also, it's reckoned by some that water will be as expensive as petrol not too far ahead.
Probably not as expensive as WELSH WATER for some time yet though

So without giving away any secrets, what's the underlying science behind his system?

Just fit a condenser on the exhaust, pipe the condensate back into the tank - and voila, perpetual motion!

Jim | No he doesn't sell snake oil in the local market. He's a clever guy.
It would be remiss of me to reveal his research, or what little I know of it. It's down to finding the most efficient way to extract the hydrogen as there are a few methods apparently.

If he manages to do what you claim, having broken most of the laws of physics, he'll go down in history as being greater than Isaac Newton and Einstein, and end up wealthier than Bill Gates!

| | | Re: HHO Gas Cars The sailent point is that (within the laws of physics) there is no way of breaking the bonds in water to produce hydrogen which uses less energy than that created by the combustion which reforms these bonds.
and also as i said further up while it is perfectly possible to inject hydrogen into a deisel engine it wont make it run more efficiency in the long run because the engine seals arent made to take that much heat and will swiftly burn out. ( I suspect hondas 200k car was that expensive because they had to build the engine to resist the high temperatures caused by combusting hydrogen)

| | | Re: HHO Gas Cars I owe all the doubters of HHO an apology. I trust this apoplogy will be received with thanks. Having built the HHO fuel-cell and tested it almost to destruction I can verify that the system is useless and totaly without any merit whatsoever. "It simply will not work." I spent a tenner and 5 hours building the fuel-cell then tested it for 5 hours. I discovered there is no way that a HHO fuel-cell will work to assist or power a petrol or diesel vehicle. However it was an interesting experiment and I enjoyed the prospects of reducing fuel cost. The word "Scam" readily springs to mind. But all you doubters were correct and Im very sorry but now I have to agree with them all. |

I wonder if the news will be similar from 'No. 9 Spider's' mate!
