| | | Severn estury tidal barrage I cant see a thread on this, sorry if there is one: Was watching the news this morning and there talking about building a barrage across the Severn Estury south from Cardiff and with the current trend of branding something green and getting planning permission I fear it may happen. But as well as destroying a lot of important tidal habitat, wont the productivity and absorbtion of CO2 into the sediment go down, possibly leaving more CO2 in the atmosphere than a power station would put out? |
