| | | Beetle larvae boring in rotting wood
This is one of the beetle larvae tunnelling in the log with lots of caches of leafhoppers. Small urogomphi and quite hairy. Any suggestions? |

I'd suggest some form of dermestoid.

Ah well, you'll get there. Do you still have it? Funny, when I'm out with my beating-gear and pots, people usually ask 'Are you collecting larvae?', which I don't - so I look forward to hearing what you get this down to! I suppose when I say Dermestoid, my span of thinking covers the similar Anobiids and the kin. Sort of detrivourous-types. So, probably no help at all then!
