Mystery 'hermit bug'

I've found this tiny bug (apx 2-3mm). I've looked online & can only equate it to a caddis fly larva, but I found it on a pile of clean washing in my conservatory, nowhere near any ponds or water for that matter. It appears to be able to produce 'web', and ducks back inside it's 'shell' when disturbed.

Can any of you brilliant people enlighten me? You haven't let me down yet.
Please don't tell me it's a nasty mite or other 'undesirable'!

It seems to be a caterpillar of a Pscyhid moth. Google Psychidae or go to ukmoths. Harmless! Don't panic!

That's it. My little one's tiny, so must be quite a youngster. I shall put it outside so it can grow.
